Comme c'est toujours l'été on a envie de bouger ! 

Mais cette fois avec quelque chose de moins vu ici déjà : Chicago's house, de l'acid et du deep !

A force de errer dans les forums je suis tombé sur un set principalement house/acid house avec cet éternel groove propre à la chaude citée Américaine ; un must qui donne un sacré coup de puissance !

As it's still hot summer we'r ready for moving on !

But this time it would be with something less common as Chicago's house, acid and deep ! after spending too much time on various topics i finaly found a very tasty set with house/acid house with true flavor from legendary hot city ! a must who 'll give you, for sure, propper attitude!

Rod Modell aka DeepChord n'a pas fini d'user les explorations sur Soma records et surtout Echospace. Loops éternels, vague de basse et léger kick. On attend avec impatience son prochaine album Sommer. Doux et tranquille et de toute façon il fait trop chaud!

Atlantik Wall 22 Unit Moebius 92 / 97  : ou plutôt l'acid qui rend fou ! Retour à l'age d'or d'Acid Planète et de Bunker records. On trouve ici un rythme effroyable, sonorités tellement 90's, un swing nous remémorant sérieusement les Spiral Tribes ... j'imagine déjà Guy Tavares manier nerveusement ses potards à travers les strombos de Dystopia ! Mention spéciale pour le morceau teknorganik !

We found here unstoppable rythm under sub label Atlantik Wall, 90's styles sounds and swing mood who seriously remember us Spiral Tribe...  already think about Guy Tavares using his machines freneticly in the Dystopia's light and shadow ! Le techno stage était prometteur :  Surgeon, James Ruskin, ROD, Steve Rachmad en plus d'autre endroits proposant plus exotiques tel que Newworldaquarium et Audio Werner ! Ok, un bon festival et surtout bien servi en Funktion 1!

Short post : we love the futur festival ! Have a nice summer all.
Techno stage was insane : Surgeon, James Ruskin, ROD, Steve Rachmad and few trippy sounds as Newworldaquarium, Audio Werner ! ok quiet good line up and blend of Funktion 1 !

La série EXECUTIVE HANDSHAKE FOR DOWNWARDS SERIE continue cette fois avec la marteau "Speak to me". Pas grand chose à dire : Régis est monstre et surtout en 1998 ! Ce morceau ne fait jamais défaut : il est toujours d'actualité ...

La suite est certes moins violente : les goûts changent, l'espace sonore évoluent et parfois s'arrête.
C'est avec tristesse que les mixes de MNML SSGS prennent fin après un parcours fantastique et respectueux. Je ne m'attarderais pas sur le sujet car j'estime qu'ils ont fait ce qui est normal, l'objectif a été atteins : proposer une approche plus humaine vers un musicien qui souhaite montrer son travail gracieusement . La suite est donc un simple mélange de tout ce qui m'a frappé plus ou moins grâce à eux. Merci à tous

Next is of course less violent : tastes and visions move by them selves and some time may found an end. I'm sadly announce that MNML SSGS mixes serie is over after spending so much respect and dreamly adventure. I don't want to speak to much on the purpose because what has been did is fair, objecitve is the hands : give a really human feeling about works musician ina free way. These mixes are by the way a smalle exemple of what i feel really different. Thank you so much

Comme on pouvait s'y attendre le thème récurrent est en ce moment très cosmique !
C'est dans une salle un peu cracra que j'ai découvert le travail de Zoviet Cosmos (Der Kommissar et Carlos Groenland). Ce qui semble être un regroupement de freaks adeptes de l'elctroacoustic aux tons anciens et expérimentaux. Ces derniers firent un ciné-concert live avec 5 bobinnes super 8 présentant un montage de courts métrages de science fiction  issues des années 50-60 d'URSS ... un travail incroyable et particulièrement intéressant !

Et en dernier mais pas des moindres, voici une sélection de mixes relativement récent. Toujours dans l' idée de garder un lien entre le thème commun et les mixes, du coup vous trouverez une techno cosmic, atmosphère vaporeuse et esprit énigmatique. Bonne écoute !

Well, it seems a like good freaks crew  fond of electroacoustic stuffs with a trippy taste of ancient vibz. This team organised a cine-concert night with fives super 8 cameras ; they presented a combination of russian science fiction's short movies from 50,60's ... astonishing night !

Last but no least here is a selection of relatively fresh mixes. I tried to keep a link between global theme and these mixes, so as well, it's all about cosmo techno, vaporous atmosphear an enigmatical mind. Enjoy !

Nothing 's eternal

Travailler la nuit fait ouvrir les yeux ; on accepte parfois de supporter quelque chose qu'on aurait dégagé de jour. De cette manière on a vite fais de soulever une dalle et ainsi permettre de se concentrer sur ce qui est caché.

De l'épilepsie en veux tu, en voila, des couv' improbables au passage et aussi des très intéressants mixes fait par le surprenant blog Workin' Night. L'intêret que je porte sur ses travaux vient en parti de ce retour à une esthétique vieillote et lié au délire de mixetapes associé à une tracklist pas croyable.
Si certaines affichent clairement le style local avec rien de moins que Ancient methods, Regis, Emptyset et Planetary Assault System. D'autres m'ont laissé échapper un murmure d'incompréhension : Nirvana, Gorgio Moroder et Jeremy Storch ... surprennant !

Quelques mots à propos du dernier EP de Perc : ce dernier ne change pas d'horizon même si il reste en Angleterre. Le décor est toujours le même, du noir, du kick tranchant comme une lame rappelant ses infâmes comparses tel que British Murder Boys. Si il se présente comme moins punk et plus précis que Regis c'est pour garder une rigueur marteau facilement identifiable. La logique nous ramène ainsi à son premier album.  Bref, un travail précis mais agressif ... terrible !

Workin by night make you upgrade vision : you may accept something you would have skip quickly.
By the way, it's makes easier to looking for new stuffs and then, stay concentrate on hidden topics.


Epileptic work you want, u got it, astonishing covers and also very tasty mixes from good guy Workin' Night. I had many interest on it coz as well you will easily find some old graphic style witch you combinate with a mixe tape .. a tape !! don't forget to mention : also a fantastic tracklist ! This one  shows definitly her side with nothing less than Ancient methods, Regis, Emptyset and Planetary Assault System. Other let me had a strange noise when I saw the tracklist ... Nirvana, Gorgio Moroder et Jeremy Storch, waaaa !


Few words about Perc's last album : he hasn't moved from his steps even if we still are in UK. Land is around you, black, raw kick who could remember you horribles friends as British Murder Boys. 
Iif he present something less punk and more precise than Regis himself, i mean because he's more looking for to keep hammer rigor whitch u easily can identify. Logical approach drive us to his first album. Well, you 've got something precise but also agressive ... strong man !
